SMS follow-up
Send the detail they asked you to send.
An address is easier to use on a phone than to remember from a conversation. Infercall can send requested information and support consent-backed follow-up without turning every caller into a marketing contact.
The customer explicitly requests the address by SMS.

01
Follow the conversation, not a mailing list.
SMS is for active conversations, narrowly expected replies and information the caller requests. An inbound call alone is not permission for arbitrary texts. Keep the reason for the message clear and recorded.
02
Treat appointment messages as their own purpose.
Appointment confirmations and reminders need recorded consent for that booking subject. Permission to text an address does not automatically cover a later appointment reminder or review request. Opt-outs and purpose checks still apply when a message is due to send.
03
Keep an eye on message costs.
SMS is charged separately from included call minutes and uses your available message credits. Review the current rate and balance in your account before enabling follow-up. Messages use an Infercall-controlled sender, which may differ from your voice number.
04
Know what is not available.
Infercall is not a cold-SMS or bulk-broadcast service. Automated Google review requests are off by default and are not an available automatic follow-up promise. A completed call or booking is not permission for a post-service feedback text.
MAKE IT YOURS
Set up the useful part.
No imported-list campaigns, arbitrary sender numbers or direct customer Twilio sending. SMS availability and consent requirements apply to each message.
Choose the specific follow-up your callers need.
Record the recipient’s request or appropriate purpose-specific consent.
Use the managed sending path and respect opt-outs.
Good questions.
Does calling my business give permission to text?
No. An inbound call alone is not blanket SMS permission. A requested one-off message needs the request and purpose recorded.
Can it automatically ask every caller for a Google review?
No. Automated review requests are off by default. They require explicit consent for that post-service feedback purpose, not just a completed call or booking.
Can I send a bulk promotion?
No. Infercall’s SMS channel is for consent-backed front-desk follow-up and active conversations, not cold outreach or bulk promotions.
