An AI receptionist for Australian businesses with work to get on with.
You're halfway through a job. The phone rings. Infercall answers the enquiry, asks the useful questions and handles the next step—without making every caller wait until you're free.
For Australian trades and service businesses, that can mean explaining your services, checking whether a job fits your service area, arranging an appointment through a supported calendar, or connecting the caller to you when they need a person.
More useful than a missed-call notification
A missed-call notification tells you there was a call. Infercall can work out what it was about. Give it your services, areas, opening hours and the questions you use to qualify a new enquiry.
A plumber can ask for the suburb and the work needed. A salon can explain a service before arranging an appointment. An owner-operator can keep working while the caller gets an answer. You decide what your receptionist handles and what should come to you.
Keep your number. Choose when calls come through.
Forward calls from your existing business number to your Infercall number. Depending on your carrier, you can divert all calls or the ones you cannot answer. Check your carrier's forwarding options and charges before switching it on.
Australian numbers depend on available inventory and the required phone-number checks. Complete the requirements for your selected number before directing customer calls to it. The Australian call-forwarding codes guide helps you find the right carrier instructions; it does not change your carrier settings for you.
Book work without the callback chase
Connect Google Calendar to create appointments during calls. Square appointment booking is also available with the required booking access and service settings. A booking needs the right connected account and permissions; it is not the same as simply taking a preferred time.
Choose appointment rules that fit how you work. A calendar appointment does not automatically dispatch a technician or promise an arrival time. Check what each integration does.
Australian plans, Australian-dollar prices
Starter is A$10 a month with 50 included minutes. Standard is A$49 a month with 300 included minutes. Each includes one phone number. Additional numbers and prepaid voice-credit top-ups cost extra.
Included minutes are used first, then available prepaid voice credits. If both run out, calls stop until you top up or the plan renews. Choose around your actual call volume rather than treating the starting price as unlimited cover.
See Australian plans and select Australia in the pricing country selector.
Set it up around your working day
Start with your website. Review the information your receptionist will use, choose its voice, set your handover instructions and connect any supported tools you need. Check your business timezone and opening hours, especially if you serve callers in more than one state.
Hear a few representative enquiries before connecting business calls. Review your privacy and recording requirements for the way you intend to use the service.
Common questions
Is this a staffed Australian answering service?
No. Infercall is an AI receptionist. Calls that need a person can be directed to someone you nominate; a separate staffed receptionist team is not included.
Can it answer outside my working hours?
Yes. It can handle incoming calls outside your working day using your opening hours and call-handling instructions. Your plan and available calling balance still apply.
Is there a free business-calling trial?
No. You can explore your receptionist before choosing a plan. Connecting business calls requires a paid plan and the applicable number checks.
